Meltingpot Forum ft. Aspen Institute Central Europe: Aspen Young Leaders Program

Aspen Institute Central Europe and Meltingpot Forum/Colours of Ostrava Festival overlap in promoting the same values, sharing similar audiences, and promoting ideas contributing to moving our society forward. Because of these shared values, we opened this special Call for Applications.

The Aspen Institute Central Europe will provide one Full Scholarship for the Aspen Young Leaders Program (AYLP) to one of the Meltingpot Forum visitors. The Aspen Young Leaders Program is a flagship program of the Institute: a leadership program that brings together young professionals from Central Europe across a variety of disciplines.

This is a unique opportunity for young talents in the field of leadership!

The Meltingpot Forum is an international forum within the Colours of Ostrava Festival – the biggest Forum in Central and Eastern Europe. Together, we want to offer a Full Scholarship for one of the Meltingpot visitors who at the same time consider themself an emerging leader.

What is waiting for you? Four days full of lectures, discussions, and workshops with renowned speakers allow participants to discover new professional perspectives, develop their potential, and expand interdisciplinary collaboration. Networking and meeting new friends from a broad variety of fields is an important part of AYLP, too! Former speakers you could have met at AYLP were for example the artist and dancer Yemi A.D., former President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska, renowned athlete Adam Ondra, AI expert Tomáš Mikolov and many others.

APPLICATION FORM

What you must accomplish to be awarded the Full Scholarship? You have to be the guest of the Meltingpot Forum/Colours of Ostrava Festival, you need to consider yourself an emerging leader and be between 22-35 years old. In addition to this, you have to send us your completed Application. The participant will be selected by the committee from the Aspen Institute CE and the Meltingpot Forum team.

This Call is open from June 19, 2023. On this day, the link with the Application Form will be published here and on social media.

Important dates

  • This Call is open from June 19, 2023.
  • The deadline for this Call for Applications is July 30, 2023, 23:59. Applications send after this date won’t be accepted for the Selection Process.
  • Aspen Young Leaders Program will take place on October 12-15, 2023, in the Czech Republic. The Scholarship holder will receive all relevant details after the Selection Process is over.
  • The results of this Call will be published on Thursday, August 8, 2023.
