Jana Matesová
Jana Matesová graduated from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and spent 16 years of her professional career working for the World Bank. There, she held positions ranging from consultant to the Senior Advisor to the Executive Director. She was also a member of the advisory group for the President, where she advised on international financial architecture and negotiations for the G7, G8, and G20 groups. She later became the Deputy Sherpa of the European Council for negotiations in the G20 group. In the Czech public sector, she has served as the Deputy Minister of Education and as an advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister, among other roles. In the 1990s, she was involved in launching the first internationally accredited MBA program in Czechoslovakia (CMC-Graduate School of Business) and subsequently served as the Director of Research, International Programs, and PR there. She has received several domestic and international awards for her research including a scholarship to Oxford University and one from the World Bank.
