Markéta Beková

MARKÉTA BEKOVÁ is the Editor-in-Chief of EduRevue magazine, published by the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic. The magazine brings topics of modern education and inspiration for principals and teachers. She works with the publishing house Wolters Kluwer, for which she prepares monothematic specials of the Teacher’s Monthly on topics such as values in education, teaching about the European Union, or environmental education. She moderates several professional conferences. Marketa organizes and dramaturgically determines the focus of the FutureEdu conference at the Opero, as well as a series of debates on challenges in education in the Pant Center in Ostrava. Markéta started her career as a Press Spokesperson and Head of Communications at Scio. She studied pedagogy at Charles University in Prague.
