Hynek received a Master’s degree in law and a legal science and Master’s degree in European business law. He spent most of his professional career at Česká pojišťovna, the biggest Czech insurance company, and at its mother company Generali PPF Holding, a leading insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe. From 2010 to 2013 he worked as the Head of the Legal and Compliance Department at Česká pojišťovna and as the Head of Legislation Committee of the Czech Insurance Association. From 2014 he is the owner at Herešová and Růžička, attorneys at law. He is also a lecturer at the Academy of Justice of the Czech Republic.
