Endre Ascsillán has been GE’s Vice President of Strategic & Government Affairs in the Central and Eastern European region since 2013. As a member of the regional leadership, he has a key role in the planning and preparation of investment decisions, while he controls and manages the issues of government affairs, public procurement, and incentives, as well as competition law and commercial compliance. Endre addresses key strategic partner relationship development in the region in order to leverage GE’s enormous growth opportunities. Prior to joining GE, Endre was an EU & State Aid Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers Hungary. His role was to lead the team supporting large public and private customers during the EU accession phase of Hungary and with new FDI afterwards. Before that, he worked as a Legal Advisor in the EU & PHARE Department of the Hungarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. Endre studied Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest and at Universitá Cattolica del Sacro Cuorein Milan.
