Kristina Hakenová
KRISTINA HAKENOVÁ is a Ph.D. student in the field of neuroscience at the Third Faculty of Medicine. Her professional interests, based at the National Institute of Mental Health in Klecany, encompass psychopharmacology, aging, schizophrenia, and the relationship between these areas and human microbiota. As a Fulbright Scholar, she enriched her expertise at Harvard’s Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology Institute in Cambridge, USA. Beyond her academic pursuits, Kristina serves as an instructor for the Junak – Czech Scouting leadership course, VLK Ursus. Committed to promoting science, she co-founded a podcast series that bridges complex scientific ideas with public understanding. In the past, she co-organized the multigenre theatre festival “Modrý Kocour”.
