Mark Galeotti

is the director of the consultancy Mayak Intelligence, and an honorary professor at UCL SSEES. He has written numerous books about Russia, its history, security issues and organized crime. His most recent include “We Need to Talk about Putin” (London, 2019) and “A Short History of Russia” (New York/London 2020).
