Barbora Chvátalová
Barbora is the leader of the Destigmatization Project, a major mental health care reform project, run under the National Institute of Mental Health, Czech Republic. She is also the founder and leader of Projekt SPOLU, the largest project of Czech psychology and medicine students in the area of mental health, sending over 250 volunteers to psychiatric institutions across the country. She is interested in the innovation of dysfunctional systems, treatment of first-episode psychosis, the effectivity of therapeutic approaches, holistic views of human health, the psychology of indigenous cultures and consciousness research. As a former professional ski racer, she now holds the highest alpine ski teaching license ISIA CARD. Barbora studied psychology at Masaryk University and the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia.
