Bulgarian Energy Policy
Following the latest news in Bulgaria, the Aspen Institute Prague has decided to release its article on Bulgarian energy policy online.
Ruslan Sefanov and Martin Tsanov, experts from the Center for the Study of Democracy in Sofia, recently published an article on the Bulgarian energy strategy and policy in the fall issue of the Aspen Review Central Europe.
Sefanov and Tsanov claimed “the priorities of the Bulgarian energy strategy and policy should be clear and unequivocal. So far Bulgaria has groped for its energy choices, which has often resulted in costly escapades and lack of clarity of direction,” and suggested that policy makers should instead concentrate efforts on finding green energy solutions and increasing gas supply alternatives.
