12th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Aspen CE

On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the establishment of the Aspen Institute Central Europe, we organized a Reception in cooperation with Embassy Of Poland In Prague.
At the beginning all the guests were welcomed by Pavel Řehák, President of the Aspen Institute CE and Ivan Hodáč, Founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Aspen Institute CE.
The official welcome was followed by H.E. Mr. Mateusz Gniazdowski’s keynote speech focusing on the current geopolitical situation and the role of leadership in times of global crisis.
Another special guest Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic shared his views reflecting the current serious geopolitical situation in our region. We appreciate that Mr. Lipavský emphasized the importance of our help to Ukraine, the necessity of allied unity in overcoming challenges to prevent further escalation of the conflict, and last but not least, the importance of promoting values leadership and the need to protect freedom and democracy in these uncertain times.
After the short official program, the guests were invited for networking and an informal dinner.
We hope everyone enjoyed the Reception, and we are already looking forward to next year’s one!
We would like to especially thank His Excellency Mr. Mateusz Gniazdowski, who kindly agreed to host this special event at the impressive premises of the Embassy of Poland.
