Congratulations to Milan Vašina on his appointment as Head of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic!

Milan Vašina, Executive Director of Aspen Institute Central Europe, has decided to embrace a new opportunity and become Head of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Milan for his invaluable contributions to Aspen Institute Central Europe and we wish him the very best in the next chapter of his career.
Milan Vašina took on the role of Executive Director at Aspen Institute Central Europe in May 2020. “My decision to resign is related to the fact that I have been offered the role of Head of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic by President Petr Pavel. It is both a huge honor and a significant commitment, which I have accepted with all humility and after careful consideration. The past four years at Aspen Institute Central Europe have been immensely fulfilling and rewarding. Promoting democratic values and fostering open dialogue in our region is a crucial mission that I am committed to supporting even going forward,” Milan Vašina remarked regarding his decision.
Ivan Hodáč, Founder of Aspen Institute Central Europe, expressed his best wishes: “I congratulate Milan on his appointment to his new position, a natural progression from his years of managerial experience and strong commitment to promoting a democratic society and fostering trust within it.
