Creative Placemaking Festival

The biggest creative placemaking event  this fall is a month away from now, and we've just opened up the registration. On November 6-7 we will have world capacities, such as Ann Markuse from Arts Economy Institute, Daniel Latorre, Founder of the Wise CIty in NYC or Igor Marko from Marko and Placemakers in London, talking on creative placemaking.

The OPEN UP! Festival, spanning over two cities and two days, will bring you a variety of events:

  • Public conference, reflecting on the economic, cultural, social, touristic and political aspects of creative placemaking, November 6, 10:00 – 14:30, DOX, Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague
  • Evening presentations of successful projects followed by a concert Android Asteroid, November 6, 20:00 – 24:00, Paper Manufatory in Pilsen
  • Expert sessions on creative industries, financing of culture, smart tourism and placemaking, November 7, 10:00 – 15:30, Peklo Culture Centre in Pilsen
  • MOVE UP! Presentation of projects Alternative Mobility Competition, November 7 from 16:30 – 18:30, Peklo Culture Centre in Pilsen
