Adam Černý announcement

We were very saddened to hear yesterday of the death of Adam Černý, a long-time member of the Aspen Review Editorial Board and a regular contributor to this magazine.

Adam Černý was a tireless champion of free speech and journalistic ethics. His work and dedication inspired generations of journalists, and his legacy will forever endure, not only in the media, but in society as a whole.

Adam Černý was known for his uncompromising integrity and commitment to the truth. He never backed down from a challenge and always sought to uphold the values that underpin a democratic society. His voice will be missed not only by us, but by the entire journalistic community.

At Aspen Institute Central Europe, we will continue to strive to uphold the values that Adam Černý stood for and supported. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
