Sustainable development in Poland, the Czech Republic, and the V4 region
Poland and the Czech Republic compete in many areas, such as foreign investment, foreign trade or economic expansion abroad. However, in others, the two countries could co-operate to their mutual benefit and for the sake of sustainable growth. Read more or see the video opinions below.
About the project
The main objective of the project is to discuss challenges and strategies for Poland’s and the Czech Republic’s sustainable growth, to exchange experiences and good practices regarding the development of “smart cities”, and to identify areas of co-operation for sustainable development in both countries, despite their rivalry in certain sphere (i.e. tourism, relations with China, expansion of Polish and Czech companies to foreign markets). Facilitating cooperation between Polish and Czech think tanks, experts, local-government leaders, business and NGO circles is an additional benefit of the project. The project is coorganized by Centre for International Relations.
