
Celeste Buckingham
Celeste was born in 1995 in Zurich Switzerland in a Swiss-American family. Celeste began her career at age 16. She has received nominations and awards including the Slavik Award for New Artist, MTV EMA for best Czech-Slovak act, nomination for the Best European Act, Radio Disney music Award nomination for best new artist, OTO Awards for best female singer and TV personality of the year, two Independent Music Awards for Best Songs, and the prestigious Crystalove Kridlo for music. At age 12, Celeste was the youngest representative at the 52nd session of the United Nations on the rights of women, in New York. She has worked with organizations such as care.org, unifem, Habitat for Humanity and Amnesty International. She also made the Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list.
