IRENA BRIFORDOVÁ started in the Aspen Institute Central Europe in May 2023 as an External Program manager. She spent more than 20 years in the IT industry, the last 18 years at Microsoft Czech and Slovak Republic. During her career, she worked with school principals and founders to help them to introduce digital technologies into schools. She worked with state institutions on strategies for using EU funds to develop digital skills. With her team, she was driving the Student Training Center program for secondary school students, etc. For the last five years, she has been working with large IT companies, consulting firms, and system integrators to support them in growing their business based on Microsoft technologies. Irena studied at the University of Economics in Prague, she achieved her MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology.
