Jan Vácha

Jan’s background lies in education policy and advocacy. He studies education at the Institute of Education, University College London. Throughout his professional beginnings, he has led a student union in Czechia, co-developed a comprehensive leadership program for school principals Lead Live (Ředitel naživo), co-developed a strategy of system-wide improvement of Czech education for Teach Live (Učitel naživo) and Česká spořitelna Foundation, advised a senator on education policy and helped set up the design of a regional pilot of school improvement in Kutná Hora led by the Eduzměna Endowment Fund. Jan has recently been involved in work for a Czech-Zambian start-up, figuring out how to design a sustainable digital tool that would help Zambian locals reduce human error in the management of their community savings.
