Jiří Vymětal

2021 Conference Speaker Education

Jiří Vymětal has been the principal of the Svatoplukova Elementary School and Preschool in Olomouc since 2017. He studied teaching of the Czech language and history at the University of Ostrava and teaching of civics at Palacký University in Olomouc. He is the co-author of several publications on global development education, the textbookEthical Education and the author of the travelogue Cesta polem hvězd. Jiří Vymětal was awarded the Teacher of the Year award for Olomouc in 2015 and the Principal of the Year 2018–2019.
