Kasia Świętochowska is a creative producer facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration. Classically-trained cellist. Advocate for making art, science and innovation accessible to all.

As co-founder of SPLOT Institute, she spearheaded several initiatives blending together culture, technology and entrepreneurship: an interdisciplinary residency for Ukrainian refugees, a program amplifying open practices across science, culture, and design; and a creative residency exploring future scenarios for human presence in space and their impact on Earth.

As creative producer for Science Now Studio, she co-created the European Space Agency initiative “Direction Earth/Space” to engage youth in Earth observation and global warming mitigation efforts. She regularly collaborates with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, for which she oversaw NOSPR AI in partnership with IBM, as well as the premiere of Wayne McGregor and Ben Cullen Williams’ “A Body for Harnasie”.

With her husband, music curator Michał Mendyk, she runs the Automatophone Foundation, which collaborates with Deaf and other minority communities to create experimental music and performances.

From 2011 to 2016, she managed international cultural programmes for the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. She is an alumna of the Aspen CE Young Leaders Program and a laureate of the Perspektywy TOP 100 Women in AI list in the culture category.
