PETER PIŠTEK focuses on information security, in particular forensics analysis, phishing, network anomaly detection, and process security. He is now working as a Manager and an Auditor for cybersecurity. Besides the scope of his research on information security, he also tries to keep track of the current impacts of hacks, vulnerabilities, and malicious behavior on society. He is a former Vice-Dean for Bachelor’s study and propagation at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at the Slovak University of Technology, where he was also interested in learning analytics and education data science in research. Peter believes in the popularization of information security or information technology in general among the population and in particular among young people.
