Václav graduated in political science from Charles University in Prague (M.A 2005, Ph.D. 2013), and in public administration and diplomacy from École Nationale d’Administration (ENA) in 2008. He served as vice-chairman and research director of the Association for International Affairs (AMO, 2005-2007), assistant to MP (2004-2007) and consultant in political marketing (2008-2010). Since 2010, he has been the Managing Partner of Czech branch of international consultancy CEC Group. He is also a passionate private pilot.
