Pepijn Bergsen

joined Chatham House in September 2019 as Research Fellow in the Europe Program, working mainly on issues related to the European economy. He worked previously as an economic policy advisor for the Dutch government, focusing mainly on international trade issues. He spent several years as an economic and political analyst, focused on Europe, at the Economist Intelligence Unit. He regularly comments on the European economy and politics, Germany and the EU in the international media. He studied International Relations and International Political Economy in Amsterdam and London.
